軟包電池是指外殼為軟包裝材料（通常為鋁塑復(fù)合膜）的鋰電池。因?yàn)橛胁糠周洶姵氐碾娊赓|(zhì)為凝膠態(tài)聚合物，因此在工業(yè)應(yīng)用上也被稱之為聚合物鋰電池。
受智能手機(jī)、平板電腦、超級(jí)本三大下游應(yīng)用的驅(qū)動(dòng)，軟包電池市場(chǎng)增長強(qiáng)勁，年均保持30%以上的增長率。全球主要軟包電池生產(chǎn)企業(yè)包括三星SDI，東莞ATL，日本索尼，LG和天津力神等。
與普通鋰電池相比，軟包電池的關(guān)鍵材料主要是鋁塑復(fù)合膜。目前市場(chǎng)主要供應(yīng)商為日本昭和（ALF），追隨者為DNP，其他將要進(jìn)入這一高利潤市場(chǎng)的還包括幾家日本、韓國和中國的企業(yè)。

2013 Pouch Cells and Key Materials Conference
Pouch cells use the soft materials for shell package (generally the Al-Plastic film). As parts of pouch cells use the gel polymer as the electrolytes, so, in industry, it also called as polymer Lithium Ion Battery (LIB).
Driven by three applications - smart phones, tablets and ultrabooks, the pouch cells market keeps strong increasing, with more than 30% annual growth rate. The global major players include Samsung SDI, ATL, Sony, LGC and Lishen etc.
Comparing with the conventional LIB, the key material for pouch cells is Al-Plastic film. Currently, the dominant market player is Showa Denko (ALF), and the follower is DNP, and also, other potential new players from Japan, S. Korea and China are intend to enter this high profit market.
