【基本信息】
香茅油又稱香草油或雄刈萱油。由香茅的全草經(jīng)蒸汽蒸餾而得。淡黃色液體。有濃郁的山椒香氣。主要成分是香茅醛、香葉醇和香茅醇。用于提取香茅醛，供合成羥基香茅醛、香葉醇和薄荷腦。也可用作殺蟲劑、驅(qū)蚊藥和皂用香料。
【質(zhì)量指標】
色狀：淡黃色至黃色清澈液體。
香氣：特征性的，類似香茅醛的香氣。
相對密度（20/20℃）：0.880～0.895。
折光指數(shù)（20℃）：1.4660～1.4730。
旋光度（20℃）：-5°～0°。
溶解度（20℃）：1體積試樣混溶于3體積80%（V/V）乙醇中，呈澄清溶液。
含量（氣相色譜法）：香茅醛35-40%，香茅醇20-25%，香葉醇15-20%。
【用 途】
1、日化護理：可直接用于洗衣皂、洗滌劑、地蠟、清潔劑、驅(qū)蚊劑、殺蟲劑等；可用作藥用油，具有消炎、消腫、止痛袪濕、增香止癢、殺菌、驅(qū)蚊等作用。
2、日化調(diào)香：作為香料用于調(diào)配玫瑰型等花香型香精?？捎米魈崛∠忝┤?、香茅醇、香葉醇
2、生活家居：凈化空氣，消除異味，殺菌。香薰驅(qū)蚊等。
